About
I am an Indo-Canadian abstract artist, based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Growing up in an East Indian household, art was viewed more as a hobby than a viable career choice, but naturally, my soul had always wanted to create since childhood, and so I did.
Art classes were always an integral part of my school curriculum. I always looked forward to these classes or any opportunity in school where I could express my creativity via things like presentations, book reports, graphs, and science fair display boards. I truly feel that it was because of this very passion that I excelled, even in the subjects that I didn’t care for.
Upon graduating from Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, with an Advanced Graphic Design and Advertising Diploma, I acquired agency and business management experience. I later started my own business, and I’ve been fortunate enough to utilize my design and advertising expertise for various clients.
Despite my passion for design, I felt a void. For me, art has always been a creative expression of self, and I came to realize it needed to be brought back into my life on a larger scale. Realizing how much happiness it brought me, I decided to make art a part of my life’s contribution.
Today, I’m fortunate to say that I’ve been able to build a life that I love, where my passions guide me.
